  Got to try a Paloma for the 1st time. It was delicious!!
  I'm going to make these drinks when the weather gets warmer.
  Staff is very nice and helpful. I originally came in looking for a port wine. So, I got it all and wasn't disappointed.

  In the area, we dropped back into this package store remembering it had a large selection of brands and spirits. Impressive boutique gin collection. This is the first store we've found in CT that carries Broker Gin, which we discovered in East Lee, MA (see my reviews) on our way to upstate N.Y. The owner even stocks the handle bottle.
  
  Hearing our discussion, he told us he had "The Green Hat" gin on sale that is crafted in Washington, D.C.'s first distillery since prohibition and that it will no longer be available to other regions. He asked if we'd like to sample the three varieties he had on the shelves. We agreed and found each to be definitively different as that is the beauty of gin.
  
  The Original Batch has some heat to it. A little abrasive for me but with the right mixers it must stand out in a good way. The Citrus Floral blend has a clearly defined back which as named contains both floral and citrus notes. Fine flavor. The Navy Strength, at an impressive 114.2 proof, definitely flexes its muscles, but seems smoother than the original batch, regardless of the difference in content.
  
  All of their gins are made in a copper pot still and according to the label history, proudly distilled by the man in the green hat. My partner bought two of each along with the Broker's handle and a few other things to have in stock. Always an adventure to learn the histories of such a large array of beverages.
  
  It's always worthwhile to visit a liquor store where the staff and/or owner knows the details of the merchandise they are selling. This is one of those places.

  This is our neighborhood package store, been going here for years. Always knew they were good people. Today I called & asked if they wouldn't mind a curbside p/u as I had my dog with me. They said yes, no hesitation, just yes. Thank you for that🤓🐶 Gotta love a business that still understands quality customer service matters.

  A good selection of foreign and domestic wine from recognizable labels to quirky boutique producers, and at the best prices in town. Each staff member I've encountered has been helpful and friendly. Be sure to look on the lower racks because not everything is at eye-level. There are some real gems to be found.
