  I needed a riding lawn mower for a place we recently purchased in CT. I was not happy with what I was available in that category. I had an old Kubota promotional flyer and had just received a new one recently. I was impressed by the apparent quality and functionality of the small Kubota tractors.
  
  So, I found Ruwet-Sibley from a web search of facilities on my regular route between NY and CT. I called and spoke with Scott Jacob. While the BX1880 is far more than a lawn tractor, I decided to purchase the 1880 with a 48" mowing deck.
  
  Some of the considerations that lead to that decision were a long driveway that will need to be plowed in the winter, a tractor small enough to fit in the existing landscaping, and my desire to clear the hill above my new house to install a Japanese style garden.
  
  The 1880 fit all the requirements. While it isn't a heavy duty earth moving machine the flexibility would allow me to clear and level a section of the hill behind my house with an add-on bucket later, and snow moving equipment can also be added for future use clearing our long driveway.
  
  The entire transaction took place over the phone and Scott handled all the details. He arranged for the financing through Kubota at a really great rate. The deposit was accepted via wire transfer, and all of the paperwork was handled digitally.
  
  Scott arranged for the 1880 to be delivered to my new home.
  
  Finally, all that remained was for me to get the keys. So on my next trip to CT on the route that took me right by the front door of R&S, I made an appointment to meet with Scott and get the keys.
  
  That visit with Scott at R&S really confirmed for me that I made the right decision on the tractor and the dealership. It was a pleasure meeting Scott in person and he took a considerable amount of time to give me hands-on instruction about the very important controls and functions of my 1880. The reception I got at R&S was by far the best.
  
  The 1880 is a very well made sub-compact tractor and everything about it speaks of a heavy duty work machine. I did order the 1880 with the hydraulic control valves installed for the future add-ons I mentioned.
  
  I think I will be doing business with Scott and R&S for a long time.

  My wife and I purchased our LX2610 new with several attachments from R&S in the beginning of the pandemic. Jacob was our sales person and we also worked closely with the owner Tim. To keep it short, Tim, & Jacob made our first purchase of a tractor painless. All our questions were answered, always welcomed by name when stopping in, kept us informed of delays (due to Covid) and most importantly, they still treat us like a new and welcomed customer after the point of sale. Kubotas are awesome, reliable workhorses. The icing on the cake is finding a great dealership who will assist you in your time of need post delivery, and treat you like they did when they were trying to gain your business. The meat and potatoes is this: if you’re in the market for a tractor, buy a Kubota and don’t hesitate to purchase from R&S in Torrington.

  I needed a small tractor primarily for snow plowing. I went to another dealer, they ignored what I said, talked over me, and generally treated me poorly. A friend recommended I go to Ruwet and Sibley, and am I glad I did. My salesman, Scott Jacobs, listened carefully to what I had to say, and added his insights to the conversation. In the end, Scott, Tim (owner) and Ed (service manager) helped me to make sure I was buying something that would not only work right now, but that could scale with me as my needs grow. I can't say enough about the team at RS, and how they helped me!
