This brewing supply store is great! Slightly hard to find tucked away in what looks like a residential building behind the Torrington Toyota dealership on the 202. Very friendly and knowledgeable owner. I will be a life long customer.
Very knowledgeable, family-run business. If your hobby is making wine or beer at home, they are there to help. Yes, you should call to check their hours ahead which took me approximately 10 seconds. They tend to alternate their hours seasonally, but during the harvest season are almost always there, sometimes for extended hours. I have made arrangements to pick things up on days they are technically closed. Very good people with lots of experience making wine and beer.
It's a good place locally to get your wine/beer supplies! I would like to have a bigger selection of ingredients locally but I know that it's hard to come by especially since brewing beer is not something someone does every day. Overall friendly, decent selection and local!
