(December 14, 2022, 7:30 pm)Visiting the FDR museum and his home was a real treat. I arrived with a good understanding about his life and history, but I learned a lot more. The museum offers an excellent self-guided tour. The tour of his home was led by a Park Service volunteer who did a wonderful job of not just explaining what we saw but enriching that with tidbits and tales about FDR and his family. I highly recommend this to everyone who is interested in learning more about the United States and how it was shaped in the 20th century.

(August 11, 2022, 5:03 pm)After watching the free movie in the reception building, I gained a lot of respect for FDR and Elenore Roosevelt. They were incredible Americans who brought us out of the depression and truly made America great!

(July 21, 2019, 10:08 am)If you are a fan of history then you MUST visit the actual home of FDR and Eleanor. They hosted the so many foreign VIPs here. Take the guided tour. It is amazing to hear and listen to the stories. you will NOT be disappointed. The home has basically been frozen in time from their days so it is very cool to go see it like it was

(October 18, 2018, 7:24 pm)This tour is separate from the Library and Museum. If you have a National Parks Senior Pass, the tour ticket is free. The downstairs was just as one would expect with all the fine furniture, paintings, photos, and rich decor. The second floor with all of the bedrooms was a little plainer than I expected, but still very interesting. The views from the upstairs was awesome. Don't miss checking out the grave site, garden, and horse stables. If this review was helpful to you, please give it a like.
