Lots of history here....nicely done in chronological order. Easy parking....it's free to visit library
The visitor center does a great job of setting the stage for a visit to FDR's home and museum. It offers a wonderful movie introducing FDR not just from a historical perspective but through the eyes of family members who grew up with him.
Everyone was very helpful and courteous..with information and stories....but Jerry was the kindest and most thoughtful driving and picking up in order to make the house tour on time!!!
With helpful hints of what not to miss and sharing of historical information !!! A big thank you!
This is my first Presidential museum ! Amazing ...it was like stepping back in time....his car and the war map room not to be missed... ..reading and watching all the things I read about in history class......the world wars and the great depression....the most impressive is to realize all of his accomplishments and that he truly carried the weight of the world on his shoulders for 4 terms. Only President to do so.!!
House tour...amazing...where he was born! ..and the Rose garden...as the final resting place!
What an enjoyable day.
Great staff, patient and friendly. Helped us plan the library visit with realistic time guess.
Also includes general restrooms an a really nice gift shop.
