Laura provided great customer service, suggestions and tips besides carrying everything to my car since I was using a cane.I highly recommend Northeast Medical Products in Old Saybrook!!

(April 15, 2019, 1:48 pm)Absolutely superb service. My wife went there four separate times during a difficult phase of imbalance, to select and buy a walker. During the first visit Andrea explained and my wife tried, several types of walkers. On the second visit, my wife selected a walker and Andrea explained that Medicaid could cover the cost.
Andrea spent two hours over the next 5 days patiently explaining to my doctor's office (in transition to new ownership) the detailed prescription she needed for Medicare approval. After all that, it turned out that Medicare turned us down.
On a third visit, we went back thinking we would buy the walker anyway, but my wife decided it didn't feel quite right. Andrea was as kind and and helpful as on the first visit.
My wife went once again on a fourth visit to try the walker once more, and we almost finalized the purchase. But she found it was too heavy for her to lift and store in the car. So, we decided not to buy the walker, after all. Andrea was as understanding and gracious as ever. I can't imagine a more helpful person and a better store to help people making their way through life changing events.
