  My husband and I stayed at the Manor House in the Lincoln room over the weekend and were impressed by the cleanliness of the room and the inn overall. The staff was also friendly and the late check in was easy. We would stay there again.

  The service, accommodations and food exceeded expectations making The Manor House Inn the top choice for accommodations in Norfolk. We were able to take advantage of the New England weather with the cozy porch and appreciated the Tiffany stained glass windows. The interior decorating and cleanliness created an inviting warm welcome feeling and the outside grounds with a fire pit was perfect for a beautiful August evening. The food service was exceptional and timely allowing our group to focus on collaboration and building relationships in a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you Rachel for your hospitality.

  Massively enjoyed our weekend getaway at the Manor House. Beautiful area with lots of hiking and sight-seeing opportunities nearby. The inn is impeccably decorated and operated. The breakfasts were great, too.

  The Manor House Inn is an absolute dream! The house and the grounds are breathtaking. From the moment you pull up - the stately front door with lion door knocker, the gorgeous foyer with detailed carved wood and dramatic staircase - every single detail is impressive. It is sophisticated, elegant and charming. The decor is romantic and regal. The innkeeper is welcoming and accommodating. She went out of her way to give us some tips on the surrounding area but was also very mindful of disappearing to give us space to enjoy the home and the grounds (and make us feel like it was our own weekend dream home!). Although we were told it was a "full house" this weekend it did not feel that way. It was quiet, calm and relaxing. Our room, the English Garden Suite, was newly renovated but remained true to the period of the home in furnishings and decor. It was nice to be down the end of a hall and feel like we were in our own wing of the mansion. Very private suite feeling. The bathroom was bright and clean with a huge tub and shower! I absolutely loved the scent of the soaps and lotions provided (locally sourced Im sure!) but can you believe they even included makeup remover wipes?! Im sure a smart woman was behind that little detail! The snacks and drinks in the beverage room were often replenished and nice to have chocolates, fruit and cookies when we arrived and again when we came home in the evening. We enjoyed our morning coffee in the Adirondack chairs in the back garden. Breakfast was delicious (veggie frittata, roasted potatoes, fresh fruit salad - YUMMY!). The entire property is meticulous, dreamy and a MUST SEE! We had a delicious dinner at The Boathouse and had drinks at the local pub and brewery. The surrounding towns were super cute but the Manor House was the true highlight of our getaway for sure! Make a plan to visit - you will not regret it!

  We were so pleased with our stay here. The service and staff were impeccable. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The Inn and grounds itself were amazing. We felt like we were in Europe! The rooms and decor were simply stunning. A LOT of time, effort, and attention to detail to reminisce the era. We will surely be back!!
