(July 28, 2020, 4:56 pm)What a phenomenal weekend getaway! I stayed at Mountain View Green Retreat the night before my wedding, got ready there for my wedding, and took photos with my family there. We stayed in Jenny's room the night of our wedding and it was so romantic feeling. The beds were so plush and comfortable. Wendy and her daughter were incredibly accommodating to my gluten free needs. The grounds were spectacular and so relaxing to bird watch and sit in peace and quiet. We definitely will be back soon!

(May 5, 2019, 10:54 am)Phenomenal all around! Absolutely gorgeous rooms, the best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel or inn, and a super friendly staff! The serene and tranquil atmosphere is so invigorating, we will definitely be coming back!!

(December 4, 2018, 5:32 pm)We loved our stay here! We drank champagne by the fireplace while playing games and listening to old records. We stayed in Mrs. Mead's room. It would have been helpful to know ahead of time that the room has some of her presence to this day. The shadow of someone standing in the doorway in the middle of the night was spooky and the touch light went on by itself in the middle of the night. We asked for the best way to get back to RI and were directed to NJ. They weren't really sure where RI was. No meat offering with breakfast. Overall a true Victorian Inn in a beautiful country setting.

(July 13, 2015, 10:49 pm)We were up in Norfolk to hear our son's musical piece at a special workshop . 8 of us stayed at the inn. Both Dean and Mary Jean were gracious. We enjoyed our stay, enjoying the finches on the outside deck, the breakfast and the other people we met at hotel. We highly recommend.

(September 28, 2014, 11:32 pm)Lovely Inn, immaculate inside and out and wonderful service provided. I can't say enough about the folks running this establishment. They went able and beyond to accommodate our family during our visit. Breakfast was served each morning at about 8:30 am. Hot coffee, fruit, quiche, potatoes, sausage etc were delicious. We had seconds and still there was plenty...and we are big eaters!!!! The price was fair and we were offered a generous discount because we were a large group and reserved several rooms. You will not be disappointed...wonderful place for family weekend getaway!
