  My sister, Patricia White was there for almost a month. She did so well with the PT and OT. Everyone there was so kind for her. The nurses and aids were wonderful. I highly recommend JDT RESORT

  My mother-in- law, Helen, was in JDT Resort for 5 weeks and received excellent care. This sub-acute rehabilitation center has an impressive staff in place. It is led by Karima, the Admissions Concierge along with Amari in Nursing, Lauren in Dietary, Chenelle in Speech Therapy and Jamila in Social Services. Medical oversight is competently provided by Dr. Barravecchio and Brittany Cluney, the nurse practitioner. When Helen was admitted she could not stand or even get out of bed. Because of nurses such as Ania, Artemis, Danielle and Toni, dedicated, hard- working CNA's like Ewa, Jessica, Joanna and Pattie and a supportive nutritional plan, she gradually got stronger. JDT has an amazing therapy department and Bill in PT and Kathleen in OT deserve special mention for their persistent work that got Helen on her feet, walking and climbing steps.
  Not to be forgotten are Pat and Faith in Recreation, Priscilla and Nariah at the front desk and Gloria in Housekeeping. Their contributions made it easier and more pleasant to be there every day. Also, the presence of a Healing Garden and an Atrium provided peaceful, beautiful settings in which to relax.
  In conclusion, we are very grateful for the loving, caring rehabilitation services received and would highly recommend JDT Resort.

  JDT & Staff saved my moms life!
  My mother was in another rehab and she was NOT receiving proper therapy and care. She got worse day by day, developing bed sores and become more disabled. Needless to say my family was fustrated and very upset. I was refer to JDT Resort and met with Howard(Administrator). He listened to what was going on and without hestitation assured me it would never happen here. Within 24 hours his team got my mom transfer into JDT Resort. The care and therapy my mom received at JDT Resort was outstanding. Amari(Asst dir of Nursing) was extremely accomedating and caring checking in with mom & family, guiding us thru her recovery. The facility was clean, safe, and beautiful which raised my moms spirits very quickly. We celebrated my mom's 86th birthday with the staff, and within a few short weeks I was able to take my mom home. Thank you Howard, Amari, and JDT Resort staff for everything. You truly saved my mothers life!

  Our mom's orthopedic surgeon recommended JDT as the best subacute facility in the area, and he was right. From the time our mom arrived she received excellent care. The facility was impressive and everyone that we encountered, from our first call, to after discharge was extremely helpful. The nurses, aides, social workers, finance office, everyone including the CEO with his informative phone notifications were excellent. We were worried about covid, but JDT was so professionally run our fears were immediately alleviated. They had in place every precaution that I could think of. This was not our mom's first stay at a subacute facility, so we know the difference between good, bad, and outstanding, JDT was outstanding. To be honest we didn't think a place like this existed in this day and age. We thought such personalized care was a thing of the past. To top it off our mom's suite reminded her of her apartment. She said it was lovely. The people, the care, the rehab, and the food were stellar. A special thanks to the business office and especially their Medicaid Specialist, who is excellent! They went above and beyond to assist us, but maybe that's just the JDT way. I highly recommend!!!

  My father went to JDT after a mini stroke. He wasn’t able to move. He lost stability and balance. After 20 days he left the place walking slowly and keeps the PT at home now. I cannot thank everyone at JDT enough for everything they have done for my dad. Bill at PT, the occupational therapist and all nurses, aids, social workers, cleaning crew. Everyone was just excellent. Blessings and Happy New Year 2023 to all.
