An all around good experience. Very responsive to emails and calls when k had issues with medication etc. Dr.Budgin and her assistants were thorough and genuinely seemed to care about my dog. Highly recommended.

Let me say that my fur baby from the time she was 6 months to now has seen two dermatologist from Latham to Connecticut being told that she has allergies and acne. over 10,000 in medications, testing, blood work, allergy shots , food changes, with no relief from her bleeding sores on her feet and muzzle. I researched and found Dr.Budgin and she has been so amazing.
Dr. Budgin takes time to educate the fur baby parent. In all my doggie Dermatologists visit she is the first one that brought me in the office and conducted the exam in front of me and explained what she was doing every step. Dr. Budgin was also open minded to hearing and actually listens to what the doggie parent has to say. 6 months later my dog's feet are cleared up there are no blood spots on my carpet, bed, or furniture. Has this been expensive yes , i have spent over 10,000 dollars prior to seeing this doctor on medications, office visits, labs, creams, shampoo; and spray. Dr. Budgin, found the right medications yes they were expensive but my dog is my child and i will do anything to keep my fur-baby happy and in the best health. I wish i found her sooner but i am just happy i have Dr. Budgin in our lives now. SHE IS AWESOME and her STAFF is an extension of her awesomeness

I was on a wait list to see a dermatologist in a large practice that was far more expensive than Hudson Valley Veterinary Dermatology. I am a so-called helicopter parent and had seen Dr. Budgin at her previous practice in New Jersey, but was not satisfied with the follow up care once she left. Bella and I are so happy to be reunited with Dr. Budgin and her new team at Hudson Valley! I would drive hours to see her (and am!). Patient, thorough, and kind!

Got my dog relief from intense itching so bad there was hair loss.
Patient, friendly, knowledgeable. Spent a lot of time with us to see what was happening. Returns calls and emails. Worth the trip to be seen here. Highly recommend!

Dr. Budgin is a miracle worker! Our sweet dog Zoe was suffering from horrible skin issues. Dr. Budgin and her wonderful assistant Michelle were both so lovely! No other vet could figure out how to treat our Zoe, Dr. Budgin came up with a treatment plan and within weeks Zoe’s skin issues started clearing up.
