  If I could give more than five stars I would - my husband and I had our wedding at Foxfire and to say it was perfect would be an understatement. The dreamy, rustic but chic interior of the inn is rivaled only by the absolutely stunning, lush greenery surrounding it. We were so lucky to have the entire place to ourselves and to call it home during our wedding celebration. But more than the completely perfect aesthetic, it was the people who made our weekend more spectacular than we could have ever imagined. Bridget, Chris and the entire Foxfire crew made sure that we did not worry about a single detail during the wedding weekend as well as in the days and months leading up to it. Because I was a very particular and detail-oriented bride (code for fussy and a little annoying), I was sure that the team could not be THAT good and I would still need to "quality control" certain things and double-check that our details were set up in accordance with our vision. I was 100% wrong about that - the team went above and beyond what I was expecting and I, even with my fastidious (annoying) tendencies, was absolutely blown away. I of course appreciated their attention to detail and perfect execution but was even more touched by their warmth and kind-heartedness. Do we need reserved signed for seats? They already have them set up. My grandmother needs a pillow for the back of her chair? They jumped on it; and one for grandpa too. We might need additional baskets for centerpieces? They've not only supplied baskets that match our aesthetic perfectly but they've already set it up beautifully. And the FOOD - the team helped us design our perfect menu from top to bottom with a "sky's the limit" attitude that was consistent throughout our planning. In an industry where 99% of vendors and professionals tell you "no", Foxfire genuinely wants to say "yes" and find a way to execute even the craziest little things that pop up in your head.
  
  This is all to say that everyone at Foxfire is incredible at their jobs but they execute the same with unbelievable thought and passion. These people CARE and it shows. We feel so blessed to reflect on all the joy and love we experienced during our wedding weekend and it would not have been possible without our Foxfire Family!

  foxfire knows how to throw an epic wedding weekend!! To any couples exploring the property for their own special celebration — do it. Bridget, Chris, Jake, Sam, Sally… the team ensured that our dreamy, rainy, romantic and JOYFUL wedding was executed to perfection. The whole 18-month process leading up to it was communicative, organized, and so much fun. The TASTING!!!! The food is masterful. Obviously the sights are gorgeous and the rooms curated beautifully. But the magic lies with the flow, the energy. The totally bespoke and unique spirit that is foxfire. We will revisit time and time again. Trust me, this is where you want to make memories.   What a relaxing and romantic place to stay. It was truly the perfect spot for us to choose for our (mini) honey-moon. From the moment we entered the front door we felt welcome by the kind Foxfire team. The rooms felt spacious but cozy, the downstairs sitting room had boardgames and a candle-lit hearth, the bar/dining area had the classic '30s look and feel, the dining covered deck was well-lit and spacious with lots of seating options. Although we were one of a handful of occupants during our stay (which made our sleepy breakfasts feel quite exclusive), the happy hour and dinner times livened up with neighboring groups, drawn to the boutique atmosphere, high-class food and drink that this establishment offers. I'm impressed how well Foxfire has been able to blend the "old" (walking grounds, vignettes, decor), the "new" (room fixtures, bedding) and the modern "necessary" (Wifi, no cell signal) into a curated experience for an evening or an entire stay. I can't express what a good time we've had and how much we'd recommend this to another couple, group or family looking for a vacation!

  I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property for their Foxfire in the Wild weekend. The staff was warm and welcoming and graciously accommodated my early arrival. The room was very comfortable. I had the most amazing rest at night! The food at the events and for breakfast was very delicious. The staff was very friendly and had many recommendations of things to do in the area. I would wholeheartedly recommend this location to anyone wanting a true Catskill experience.

  I can't recommend a stay at Foxfire enough! I visited recently with my brother and sister in law for their summer BBQ and we all had the most incredible time. The property is gorgeous and so relaxing, the food is some of the best I've ever had, and everyone who works here is so incredibly nice, helpful, and welcoming. We got to enjoy a karaoke night with them and some other guests after the barbecue and it was so much fun, we can't wait to go back next summer!
