I am so angry with myself that I have not come here sooner. This place is an absolute gem. I am a beginner mountain biker and I had an amazing time riding in this park. I am new but was able to manage the more difficult trails as well as the easy ones. I wish I lived closer I would be coming here every day!
Nice place to work on MTB skills. Because it is in a park in the middle of Queens, the trails tend to wind around a lot, and are pretty rocky and covered with exposed tree roots. I'm riding beginner trails with an XC hardtail and most parts of the terrain are manageable for newer MTBers.
great park to ride a bike and learn. please follow trail entrance and rules. do not ride the wrong way and hurt anyone coming the right way. this place is great for easy and difficult riders. great challenge to compete with yourself and time every ride... exercise and be safe and healthy.
Super long loopy trails down to the lake and back up into the woods. Such a great ride for any real cycling enthusiast. I had so much fun and was super happy about our 1.5 hr ride. A must see/go.
Nice easy hike and mountain biking trail. Able to do with kids. Small ups and downs but well worn path. Natural trails so can be muddy after rain or snow melt. So close to 495 but feels like you’re totally isolated. Giant tall trees throughout the park.
