  Went here after looking for some good halal eats on social media and came across this place. Obviously if you want rice platters or gyros, you can get them from the 100s of thousands of Halal carts in the city, and you'd be saving some money, but this place is worth it.
  
  We ordered the shrimp rice platters and masala fries plus drinks, and our total came out to be around $21 or so. This place is on the pricier side, but it's definitely worth it.
  
  For starters, you won't find shrimp rice platters like this anywhere else. The shrimp was jumbo sized and beautifully coated and each bite was full of flavor. The salad was incredibly seasoned and flavorful, and featured a diverse variety of veggies, such as cucumbers, onions, peppers, lettuce, and tomatoes. And they did not skimp on the sauces either. The shrimp rice platters was simply sensational. And we can't forget the masala fries either, these are not your typical Cajun seasoned fries, these fries have genuine masala flavor that's present in every fry and it's incredibly irresistible. Paired with the platter, it was a solid meal. I'm definitely going to go out of my way to come here every time I'm in the city.

  From the looks of it, it may look like one of those halal places that sells everything and doesn’t specialize in any type of food. I tend to get worried bc the quality check on every item could be overseen. But out of maybe 100 gyro places I’ve ate at this has got to be top 20. The quality was up to bar. Chicken was very juicy and had good flavor. Lamb was about normal. The pita was nice and crispy. Nothing fell short. Quantity was a nice portion. And the people working were very nice.

  It's the best Halal lamb Gyro in NYC. The people there are really friendly. The gyro is filling and I couldn't eat anything else. From the photo you can see how big and stuffed it's. I'll always come here for one of the best Halal food in NYC. Prices are good too compared to the value.

  This place is exceptional. See bullet points below:
  **Please see PHOTO for size of portion, then realize I ALREADY ATE HALF of it when I took pic, also I added some jalapeños, but I think they have extras on site too*
  
  -math makes it a better deal than in the city
  -taste makes it equal to most in the city carts (there’s a wide range, if you know you know)
  -there aren’t any carts by us for there to be a loss of income for the carts…
  -Culturally diverse and welcoming staff
  Just to be thorough, only criticism from that visit:
  -chicken Slightly dry without sauce, but I would never do halal w/o white sauce/hot sauce, so it’s never a problem
  
  Edit: 3/3/22 chicken was great today, so chock one up for outliers 😉

  This place the absolute best! I was skeptical about halal not from a food cart but this place is something special! The quality of the food is always exceptional and Mo and Hamed are welcome and kind. The chicken and lamb are absurdly good, the chicken tenders are the best ever, the seasoned rice is delicious! Cannot recommend more highly!!!
