(August 6, 2023, 3:30 pm)We had a pretty good time walking on this somewhat short but paved interactive "learning" trail around the Black Rock Lake/along the Schuylkill River. It was mainly under the tree cover, so it was nice, quiet and cool in the morning. I'd imagine it would be a fun place for some young children to learn about the wildlife. Perhaps we will try to go on a longer hike on the unpaved trails.
For Pokémon Go players, there are several gyms (about 5) and many stops (around 12) within this 3/4 mile walking trail. Have fun. -

(May 30, 2023, 10:31 am)Wonderful place to go for a walk. Several trails, including an interactive trail. Lots of wildlife to see (deer, rabbits, large variety of birds)
Dogs must be on a leash. -

(May 21, 2023, 5:22 pm)A beautiful place to take a walk. Never too crowded or full of trash like other places. We love seeing all the wildlife too. Today we saw a turtle and beautiful birds.w We’ve also seen frogs and rabbits.

(June 1, 2022, 7:11 pm)Wonderful paved loop. I have found this short loop is the right length, grade, interactions for all abilities. Toddler, wheelchair, runner, walker, all of it. The interactions stations and knowledge drops are excellent and the picnic benches, take-a-book-leave-a-book is a marvelous hidden gem!! Hopefully those who come will appreciate the serenity and dedication of a place like this. Keep it clean my friends.
