  Lucy is a wonderful movement teacher—a rare quality these days. She is patient and as focused on the details of placement as she is on the dynamics of the flow. I had always wanted to learn Tai Chi—learn it in a way that comes to inhabit one—and Lucy has made it possible for me to get much closer to my goal of making Tai Chi a permanent part of my life. She is also particularly good about making clear what the various moves/forms are called, and why—including what their martial origins are—and additionally helps students understand the importance and function of the 12 meridians through which the qi flows. If you want to learn Tai Chi, you could not have a better instructor than Lucy.

  I've participated in Lucy's Yoga and Taichi classes for several years and enjoyed them very much. The teaching is professional and authentic. I've benefited greatly from it both physically and spiritually. I feel fully stretched and pain-relieved with my joints and muscles, as well as energetic and calm in spirit after each practice.
