Excellent deluxe rooms and location. Cleaning staff is top notch. Mostly older folks. very small bar did not use.

This place was pretty great for what we needed! The outdoor pool is heated & half in the sun / half in the shade which was perfect. The room was nice, we had one with a jacuzzi tub & a four poster bed. Occasionally, the room did smell very strongly like smoke, we think when the wind blew through the fireplace (which wasn't in use). Breakfast is standard hotel breakfast (waffle maker, pastries, cereal, coffee & juice).

The rooms are super clean and greatly organized. There was a balcony at the back of the room that overlooked the back area. I loved staying in it in the evenings.
The roomservice was done every day.. most hotels stopped doing that, so it was a nice gesture. Breakfast was OK, your standard breakfast variety in that level of hotels.
I would definitely come back here vs. the name brand hotel next door.

OK, this hotel has a rustic vibe but yet a tip of the cap as the hotel has solar panels installed. The staff were helpful and friendly and gave us some solid recommendations for restaurants. Enjoy the old photographs in the hallways.
The room was very clean and absolutely no issues with the room.

I called the hotel directly to reserve a room. Lance answered and was very accommodating and friendly! Upon arrival I was impressed with the customer service. The deluxe king was perfect with a private balcony overlooking a scenic pond and fireplace. The bed was very comfortable. Nice pool area. The salt water pool and jacuzzi were so relaxing. I liked the cozy cocktail lounge. We enjoyed watching the Kentucky Derby with other guests. The bartender was also very friendly. Such a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere! I highly recommend.
