  There can be something sterile and somewhat lonely about staying in a large hotel or chain operated establishment. Especially when you're traveling alone and don't know anyone in the area. Staying at the Cornell Inn was like a relaxing stay with family. I was greeted warmly and fed often. I was comfortable, safe, and relaxed. When it was time for me to check out, I told them that I didn't want to go and they told me that they didn't want to let me. They packed me a gift bag for my onward journey, but no other place felt quite as home as the Cornell Inn.
  
  Side note: I'm not sure if the inn is haunted or not, but if it is, they are very kind ghosts. In the middle of the night, one night, my ceiling fan turned on by itself. I was hot, so if anything they read my mind and were looking out for me.

  My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon, and it was the best place! Very relaxing atmosphere, everybody is so friendly, and the breakfast food is amazing! Menus changed twice in the three days we stayed there, so we never had the same dish!
  
  The territory is very beautiful, we loved how much greenery and flowers there were.
  
  Our room was excellent too! Very light, with everything you might need, and very nicely decorated.
  
  Thank you so much for making our stay so great! We’re already talking about coming back!

  My husband and I stayed here for three days during our honeymoon and absolutely loved our stay! There is so much thought and care put into every aspect of the experience, from offering fresh limeade and brownies every day to ever-friendly front desk staff to lovely little toiletries in our room. The room itself was very clean and comfortable, as well as beautifully decorated. We also loved every breakfast we had! I have nothing but praise for the Cornell Inn, and we will definitely be back.

  We stayed at The Cornell for a Spring getaway to explore the Berkshires. We were blown away by the immaculate amenities, the quality of our room, and the expert service from all staff! From delicious baked goods at check-in, to pouring great cocktails while we read at the bar, they really go above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable and welcome! Every space on the property is so expertly thought out, cozy, and welcoming! The Cornell is perfectly situated near downtown Lenox where we walked for great pastries, dinners, and people watching. I have recommended this inn to MANY friends and family and we cannot wait to return for our Fall getaway to this wonderful inn!

  The Cornell Inn is a wonderful place to stay. The staff are very friendly, the room we stayed in was very lovely, clean, and had the extra touches that made it special. From the moment we walked into the inn to stay, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The breakfast provided was superb. The perfect place to decompress and relax. We definitely will be returning to this very special and lovely inn. The innkeeper has invested a lot of love and care into making this inn a true gem.
