  Some tough to follow stretches, lots of downed trees. I'm talking about the 2.5 miles from Route 20 north to the state line. On the plus side, a couple of winter hilltop views, one excellent scramble, some water, and a satisfying arrival at trail's end and the Massachusetts state line. A walk back on roads helped the day along.

  Hidden gem off the side of the road. Can be a bit slippery during end of fall when leaves fully cover all the rocks in the path. Easy hike with a nice waterfall view at the end.

  I didn't actually walk around I stopped at the lake and took a few pictures. It was absolutely amazing from what I was able to see.

  One of the newer hikes I've been on lately and have to say it's made its way into my top 10 hikes in New England. The rarely visited hike offers you to become one with nature and enjoy the sights and sounds of a seemingly untouched forest. The trails are marked very well with a blue line. The waterfalls are well worth the short 20-30 min hike, along with the loop.

  Across the street from parking area is a footbridge to enter trail. About 2 miles in following the light blue blazes is Indian Council Caves.
