  I recently had an amazing time at The Shoals Suites & Slips in Southold, NY, and I wanted to share my experience.
  
  The place is really nice. The room was clean and comfy, and you could tell they put thought into making it cozy. But what really made my stay memorable was Barbara, the hostess. She's seriously awesome. Super friendly and down-to-earth, she went out of her way to make sure I was having a great time. It's like having a cool friend who's also making sure you're having a blast.
  
  The vibe of the place is on point too. Right by the Peconic Bay, it's got that chill, laid-back feel. Waking up to that view was something else – seriously, it's the kind of thing you see in movies.
  
  So, if you're in the mood for a relaxing escape with warm hospitality, definitely give The Shoals Suites & Slips a shot. Barbara and the whole vibe make it a solid choice. Thumbs up from me for sure.

  The Shoals: special spot in North Fork area of Long Island. Fresh accommodations, close to historical shore towns and wineries, orient point is close and awesome, finish your day in the longe with a view - food of your choice - and favorite local wine.

  Just stayed at The Shoals this past weekend. We absolutely loved it. The staff was more than accommodating, the rooms were incredibly clean and we even got a room upgrade when we arrived. I highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely be going back!

  The staff was wonderful, polite and accommodating. Nice "quick bite" breakfast options on property in the morning.
  Love that they do daily room cleaning
  Would definitely recommend for others and would stay here again!

  We stayed here for an overnight trip in April of 2023 and had a great experience. All of the staff that we encountered during our stay were warm and inviting. We stayed in Room 5 - one of twenty rooms at this completely renovated hotel. The room was modern and more than we expected including our own patio area. We even received a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolate as well as a $35 voucher to the Southold General which we used for breakfast the next morning. The Shoals is a straight shot to downtown Southold and only a few minutes from Greenport. We’re looking forward to staying here again in the future!
