  My husband and I got married at The Kaaterskill Inn under the October 2022 full moon, and it was a dream come true. The venue was exactly what we were looking for - something unique, surrounded by nature, where we could create a surreal, magical experience. On our first visit, we were greeted by their flock of ducks and I immediately knew this was the place for us. Tammy and Alex worked closely with us to help bring our wedding vision to life. They care deeply about their couples and went above and beyond to help make our wedding happen. The Kaaterskill is a magical place - my husband and I stayed in the house on the property for three nights. The rooms were cozy and inviting, and we loved spending time there. We even held our rehearsal dinner on the back patio of the house on the property the night before the wedding, and it was absolutely beautiful. I definitely recommend staying in the house for your wedding! We held our ceremony at a clearing in the woods by the apple tree, and it felt like something out of a dream. Cocktails and the reception were held in the barn, which is a beautiful space. As the night went on, our guests enjoyed gathering around the nearby bonfire to warm up. Our guests also loved interacting with the animals- they were definitely a highlight! The day after the wedding, my husband and I were able to take our time walking around the property and reflecting on the joy and magic of our wedding. Tammy and Alex are a dream team, and I cannot recommend The Kaaterskill enough! Our guests are still talking about how unique, beautiful, and magical our wedding was. We're so grateful to have had the opportunity to celebrate our wedding there.

  Amazing place to stay! Cabin was super cozy & had a beautiful view of the mountains. Also loved playing with the animals & exploring the area! So much beauty on the property and in the surrounding area, will definitely be back! (also a great place to work remotely! no issues with the wifi! )

  A magical experience! I stayed at Kaaterskill for a weekend and had an amazing time. It was a beautiful space with adorable happy animals. There are beautiful trails that you can walk along, and a couple of goats (Emma and Astro) even joined us for our journey. The staff were incredibly sweet, welcoming, and down to earth. You could tell the owners really care about the animals and the people staying there. A true paradise!

  We were just married at The Kaaterskill this past weekend and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. The owner and property manager were increadible to work with – they ware easygoing and professional from the start, and made us and our whole crew feel very welcome. They helped with every single detail and were so accomidating. You couldn’t ask for nicer people to work with. Anyone who has planned a wedding knows there is a ton of contact with your venue prior to the event. All our expectations were met and more. The venu itself is one of the prettiest locations in upstate NY. I've have so many guests reach out to say how beautiful the property was and how much fun they had. Thanks so much!

  I stayed here 2/2022. We got to stay in the farmhouse in the Kaaterskill suite. The room was beautifully decorated and clean, and the house has a full kitchen and living room. There was an ice storm the day before and many people in the area were left without power and pipes frozen. The owner made sure everything was working and that our stay was not affected. The highlight was walking around the property and feeding the animals. It felt like it was our own little farm. The backdrop of the mountains is magnificent in person; the photos do not do it enough justice! I would absolutely recommend this place at any time of year!
