perfect location, feels remote when there - oasis. rooms are so comfortable and well designed. restaurant is top notch. spa and views are impeccable. unprecedented getaway!
Imagine if you can create your perfect getaway for relaxation and fun experiences. Piaule Catskill will blow your expectations out the water and make you realize you never want to leave. The hospitality, rooms, service, the grounds all perfect. Massage services are worth the price, Staff is so friendly and helpful with anything. Super safe area as well, and the food is absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend staying here because I will be back in the Fall and winter and spring, I'll always come back.
Unbelievable experience at Piaule! The staff was incredible, we stayed two nights and by the second day they knew our names, and even our dog's name! They were so sweet and helpful, and really make sure that you feel your vacation is "your vacation", rules are minimal, as long as you are being respectful to the rest of the visitors. The dinner was truly spectacular. Everything was 10/10! Cant wait to go back.
Beautiful spot with charming cabins and nice views. The spa is definitely a highlight. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but there were definitely some quirks: The people working there were friendly but seemed shy, so it didn’t help to set the tone for what the place was all about. Because of that, it felt like everyone there was on a different page (eg. some people wanted a silent spa retreat, some were looking for a luxury hotel experience, and some a glamping trip). There was very limited “turndown” service that replaced only bottles of water but didn’t tidy the room or make the bed, which is fine but less care than what you’d expect for the price per night. And finally, the cocktails were good but the sit down dinner was incredibly overpriced for what was fine but pretty standard fare.
Saw that the founders originally ran AirBnbs, which makes a lot of sense. The place has a distinctly diy atmosphere despite the luxury price.
