(October 17, 2022, 11:14 am)Joined my sister for a yoga class at the Funky OM, as this is her “go-to” studio. I totally understand why she drives 30 minutes from her house to come here!
The atmosphere is relaxing, inviting, and clean. Great care was put into making this studio feel welcoming. Our instructor gave great for any level of yogi. My sister is advanced, and I am more of a beginner, with some dexterity issues due to an accident. This class was the right fit for us both, as the instructor is great at helping those relax, in poses in which they are comfortable!
I strongly recommend the Funky OM, and the OM organics juice & salad bistro next door. I feel relaxed and hydrated! -

(November 15, 2020, 12:23 pm)The North Shores' Sage...There is a Sage on the North side of Long Island-he glides on a Harley along Route 25A...focused on his destination-he rides as he teaches...with slow great intent-as if one would move thru a Asana...smooth playful with the spiritual intent only the lucky may experience. The lucky are us whom taken a class or Kirtan, or Yoga Teacher Training- its a wonderful experience/journey, filled with stories of past, painted passionately, with touches of anatomy, sharing skills of Accupuncture and Forrest Training. All for the lucky who may join any of these opportunities led by Millard Roper at Funky Om. Learn to chant, play the Harmonium, feel the burn in ...Millards' YTT not only trains future teachers- it ignites the smolder inside of you...experience the circle of friends -Rasa...savor it for life......

(June 22, 2013, 1:51 am)The classes at The Funky OM are super convenient and fun. They have classes for beginners as well as more advanced yogis, plus the teachers are welcoming and know their stuff! Totally recommend it!
