  Very scenic and tranquil locality. Stony Brook Harbor is a short ride away from here. Avalon Park next to it has a lot of long trails for biking and walking.

  Very relaxing to stop buy this pond. I used to feed the ducks growing up.

  Really pretty park with avalon park and preserve on the opposite side of the water with great trails. Please remember NOT to feed bread to birds as bread has no nutritional value for them. Please feed the ducks, geese, and swans bird seed instead.

  The center of Stony Brook, from where all things flow. Park your car near to the corner of Main Street and Harbor Road, and walk over to the pond. On and around the pond there are always ducks and swans and Canada geese - you will get your fill of these aquatic birds. Pet friendly area, but please pick up the poop if you are escorting your dog here.
