  This is a great gym. The front desk attendant was friendly and helpful. Weekly rates are reasonable. The A/C works. The equipment was in good, working shape. The place is big enough to accommodate busy times. I’m skipping all in-town OC gyms from now on. I definitely recommend this gym if you have higher expectations than what you get in OC (which isn’t necessarily bad, it’s just not what I want in a gym).

  I was on vacation for a graduation and this gym was fantastic.
  
  Great Rogue Bench press so i could work on getting ready for my Power Lifting event in July.
  
  The place is clean, friendly staff, great price ($25) for a weekly pass and i like the diverse amount of machines, Hammer machines, and free weights available.
  
  Finally love the new machines (reverse hyper machine, hip thrust machine0 and the dead lifting pit and squat rack.
  
  If you in the area for vacation and need an excellent place to work out Sommers Point Fitness should be your choice.

  Very clean, spacious without becoming a workout warehouse. Staff extremely welcoming Every free weight, machine, cardio and heavier lifting equip you could ask for as wee asa functional exercise room. Glad i found it. Trainer Heli is very easy to get along with and instructs/pushed me on

  Nice gym, plenty of machines and free weights. Functional training room/area, boxing heavy bag and cross training equipment/area. Some of the machines are a bit dated, but still well maintained. Some.new machines were being put in service during my stay.

  Amazing atmosphere! I have been to many gyms at the shore and Somers Point Fitness truly is the most quality gym in the area. It is extremely clean and the music is at the perfect level. All machines are cleaned and checked daily. The atmosphere truly creates a satisfying and feel good workout. I have become more motivated just from the quality of the gym and people. Absolutely worth the price, which is also very good and the deals are outstanding.
