It’s old school, a bit dated, but if you are looking for a place to just throw heavy weight around and you don’t care about sweating quite a bit, this is the place for you…and the community is unmatched.

(August 25, 2023, 8:29 pm)This place is awesome. I bought a week pass for the $45ish which is reasonable. This gym is awesome. Old school pictures of Arnold on the walls and all the iron you need for a good workout. It had a mix of hardcore lifters, newcomers and everybody in between. The staff was cordial and i noticed all staff members had rapport with the regulars. It was also very clean. I worked at a Planet Fitness during COVID so my opinion of clean means more than others. I loved the vibe. Yes it was warm but I was never bothered by it. The weight plates are kind of a throwback style and the gym makes you feel like how it was when cellphones weren’t a thing. It enhanced my beach vacation experience. I also bought a shirt and want to wear it forever.

(July 18, 2023, 2:41 pm)my family and I have been coming down to the shore for a few years now but prior to this summer we’ve went to another gym on the island. After hearing a few of my friends talk about the changes and additions that were made this past winter I decided to check them out. Safe to say I won’t be going back to my old gym!! The new paint makes everything look so fresh, the water fountain was defiantly needed, tinted window are a plus for some extra privacy when running on the treadmills, and the POSING ROOM! what other gym has a posing room in the area. I feel like I’m in an actual gym when I walk through the doors, definitely no run of the mill fitness club.
