The band was excellent, the park was beautiful & we were able to almost forget about covid for a few hours! We felt totally safe as everyone was spaced apart adequately. Thank you to all the sponsors!

Good river access. Lots of picnic tables with ample shade.
Portapoty for those brave enough to use. -

Has great native areas, great trails wide and narrow(storybook trail also for children), ample parking, scenic views of the Connecticut river, historical plaques dictating Portlands history, great native wildlife, picnic tables and benches, and easy access from main street.

(November 3, 2018, 3:20 pm)Really amazing park. Its so neat to see all the Brownstone, benches, walls, and walkways. The paths are easy to follow and fairly accurate when following the map. The labyrinth not being up yet is my only disappointment. Such an amazing walk to revitalize your senses, the wind through the yrees and off the way and the soubds of the birds, not to mention all the beautiful colors of the trees and flowers. Lots of wildlife.
