The park's trails wind through dense woods, rocky terrain, and some open meadows. Mountain bikers can expect to encounter roots, rocks, and some steep hills on the trails.
The park has a few different loop options, including a 5-mile loop that is popular with mountain bikers. The park also offers some scenic views of the Connecticut River and surrounding countryside. -

(September 19, 2022, 10:33 am)First time here I figured I would walk the trail and I found the river it is actually really cool it's not even a long walk to get to the river there are also bike trails where you can mountain bike down the path they have fire pits here and picnic benches. It is an awesome walk if you've never been here I would recommend checking this spot out you will really enjoy it if you're looking to just kick back and relax and have a good time.

(June 6, 2021, 12:11 pm)A very peaceful place to hike and it is never crowded even though the parking looks crowded. There are a lot of different trails and beautiful views. You can overlook the CT River from up high or follow the stream and cross little bridges to go right to the edge of the river. The trails are mostly short, but can easily be combined to make a longer hike. It is perfect year round, but can be very buggy at times.
