(August 19, 2023, 1:02 am)Had a great time here. Glad we caught the movie that explained the tracking footprints on the inside and more. We purchased a mining bag and the experience was so fun even for my 9 year old son. Wish we arrived sooner so we could explore longer but glad we got through all of it. There were 2 large snakes along the nature walk so we didn’t get very far there but we saw some super cute chipmunks while we were out there. The story walk we didn’t really see the point besides reading the story and walking. Over all very sweet experience.

You will find and see that this is an actual excavation site where dinosaurs fossils where discovered by chance. Its mind blowing facts all through out the facility.

(May 31, 2023, 3:15 pm)Wonderful place to visit. I hope someday funding becomes available to re-dig up the majority of the prints and update the building, but still a great find. They have a talk from one of the park workers and several short films that play in the theater throughout the day.

(May 6, 2023, 6:02 pm)This was a worthwhile trip from New York City. There is an exposed section of bedrock in the floor about the size of a small house that is COVERED with theropod prints. That made me wonder how many prints remain hidden in the surrounding landscape. There are several good dioramas as well, including a life-size Dilophosaurus that may have laid down the tracks. There are trails for hiking behind the museum, with wooden bridges over swampy areas.
