  This is a nice neighborhood playground with activities for the kids. There are many climbing structures, jungle gym, playhouse etc to enjoy. There is also a race track and tennis courts. Although they may not be part of the Pat Kidney complex strictly speaking, it's all basically the same park. There is ample parking and it wasn't too busy. You should note some of the complex may be used by the school, st which time its not available to the public. I go by here a few times a week and never noticed it closed so not a big deal.

  Great little park area, very well kept. Decent parking, walking paths and restrooms 🚻 available, 4 out of 5 based on unknown variables such as if restrooms are available during a game or not and if outdoor field lighting is adequate for game play.

  Real nice ballfields, went to watch my son's team play against Middletown. I was impressed with the whole facility! It has to be the nicest well kept ballpark that I've been to so far this year. What I could see from the field I was at, was two baseball diamonds and a football field up on the hill. They had a football game going at the same time as the baseball game that I was watching. The concession stand was open while I was there and the football game had a announcer on the loudspeakers with music and everything. I would be happy to see another game there again, need to bring some cash for a hotdog next time.

  This park is beautiful, so many high quality sports fields. A great asset for the city of Middletown and the local community. This review is going to be mostly basketball court based because that is what I care about. These 2 courts are probably the nicest park courts in the Hartford Region. The fence keeps the ball from rolling far away or into traffic. The signs and list of rules makes it known that its not for dogs or skating but its for basketball. The backboards are glass which is rare for park courts but an awesome feature makes for more consistency with bank shots if you play both indoors and outdoors. There are full bright lights for playing well after dark. And nearby bathroom facilities along with water fountains. This place is a hoopers dream.
