(September 16, 2022, 7:05 am)This is the third assisted living facility my mother has been in this year and it is the ONLY one where we felt like they actually cared about her as a human being. They called me the day after we moved her in to let me know how she was doing, which no facility had ever done.
Everyone from management down to the staff treats her with respect and compassion, and they encourage me to call or come by any time, which I do. They have been able to convince her to bathe and change her clothes regularly, which she was not doing at the other facilities. They even sent her flowers welcoming her to River Mills.
When I have questions or concerns, they address them timely and they keep me updated with any concerns they have. My mother has become friendly with several of the other residents and is the most content and happy I have seen her in a long time. I highly recommend River Mills and am so thankful we found it!
