I was diagnosed Dec. 15, 2021 with Triple Negative BC Grade 3, Stage 3A. I then had an MRI, and on the 28th was told that in my other breast I had IDC Stage 1A E& P+ HER2-.
I was recommended to RCCA by my Gynecologist. I must say that this has saved my life. I am done with my chemo, radiation and Keytruda treatments as of yesterday.
Dr. May is the absolute best and she has an amazing team of nurses and lab workers supporting her. They are all so thoughtful and kind. I saw a review that Dr. May made a patient wait an hour. I also have waited to see her and understand she gives each patient her absolute uninterrupted attention and will stay with them until all questions are asked and answered.
Same goes for Dr. Lo and her radiation team.
I hope you never have to go here, but if you do, I recommend this live saving team.
This is Laurie, Breast Cancer. Rads group fantastic, Erica is a solid and smart as can be, Dr. Lo was great, convenient and knows her side of things, caring and quick in and out no waiting, just great. The reason I didn't give this 5 stars is the "after care" Dr. May and associates keeps you waiting and hour to an hour and a half. TO ME,, this is poor scheduling skills, and more than annoying. I called and they got back to me a day later, to me didn't answer all the questions i was hoping the Dr. May would call. Again, once you "get" in to see her, she has a good rep and is pleasant and caring, but getting there always seems to be a "scheduling problem" and hard to coordinate with Dr. Lo etc. Each time I would call and try and make it "both the same day" or rearrange so I wouldn't have to keep coming back, the office on her side seemed hassled and annoyed.. There was much snow this winter when I went for radiation treatment and we come 45 minutes, but always made it in. Erica and that end rearranged a few times because other folks cancelled with the snow and it made our lives easier. But unless Dr. May's office gets it together, I don't know how long before I am inclined to change Dr's because they should show more patience for their patients.
Caring, concerned, efficient, helpful and smart.
My mom has been treated here, and if you're in need of cancer treatment this would be the place to go. All the associates are wonderful and the doctors are awesome! I highly recommend it. We love mom's doctor - Dr. May!
