I love it, always clean, not so many people , and lot's of different playground built in games for all ages
My daughter calls this the Butterfly Fly park because the one set of monkey bars has a butterfly on it. This park is always clean and well maintained. The playground for the kids is kinda small unfortunately. This park also features a basketball court which is strategically placed between the pond and the stream with no fence around it. Somebody wasn't thinking that's for sure! As you can imagine you'll be fishing the ball out of the pond with snapping turtles or the stream. As for the pond it's pretty shallow with a bunch of different turtles, frogs and fish. Around the pond is benches and grill stands for bbqing. There is also a soccer field at this that is well kept and a trail off the back end of it.
What a beautiful park in a beautiful setting! Could use a few more benches right by the playground equipment, though, for parents to sit and be close to the kids playing. Playground equipment is nice, pretty new. Geared towards a younger crowd except the merry go round. My kids 8, 6, and 3 all had a great time. We also enjoyed strolling around the little pond and spotting the carp. 😊
Small playground, pond and a youth soccer field. There's also access to some hiking trails at the far right side of the field.
