  Lodestar is a great park. Sports fields, playground, paved walking track and dog friendly. Also fun for sledding, if it ever snows again!
  Theres a water fountain and bathrooms, but they’re not always unlocked.
  I’d have given a 5th star, but not having the bathrooms open puts a real damper on a “day at the park.”

  Great community park, always a perfect place to get in a few laps on their paved walkway. People with dogs, esp smaller ones, really need to scoop up after them. They now have 2 separate poop stations with bags and trash, no excuse to not clean up! We are lucky to have this park in our small town, we have to keep it clean. The Fredon township crews do their part with mowing, etc. I don't want them to make it dog free! They are in process of installing a brand new playground for kids here too. The pavilion is a great place to bring snacks or lunch, and hangout while kids are enjoying that. And the adjacent nature trail is perfect for more of a hike, esp with larger dogs. Our lab loves exploring there! Love Lodestar!!♥️✌️🚶🐶🐾💩
