  Nice parking. No fee, but a donation is requested. They do maintain a porta-potty.

  I wish I would have gone inside and talked to the people of visitor center. Ample of parking available here to walk KRT to lower falls. Kaaterskill Rail Trail starts from here to falls.

  Absolutely marvelous community reading of Rip Van Winkle! I even got to take a part in it last moment! Beautiful ride up the mountain! Definitely something to do next year!

  The train track trail is an excellent low impact trail for those who want to go for a light hike. It connects to the tougher trails, like the ones that go to the water, for those interested.
  
  The greeters at the entrance explained everything we needed to know thoroughly and succinctly. Great experience overall. 👍

  I just went through on the tracks so far can't say about the fall as the inital route was too icy to go with my puppy and didn't want to risk it. However obi loved going through the snow on the rail tracks and was flat terrain which was perfect for him.
