We rented Your Own Lodge for a bachelor party this past August. We had about 18 adults attending from all around the country and the house was very well equipped in location, size, and amenities for the weekend. The house has A LOT of space beyond the 13 bedrooms! There is a large kitchen & dining area as well as a large den which our group used at meal times and during poker games. The house also has an enormous basement that is equipped like a bar with games and great lighting which was awesome for late-night hangs. Outside you won't be disappointed as there is a very large deck with nice picnic tables for BBQ or beer pong. The deck looks down the yard on an amazing pool which we spent most of the weekend enjoying.

In addition to all that the house had to offer you're on the main drag in Tannersville/Hunter which makes running errands easy on foot and even easier in a car. Our group walked down to Last Chance Cheese for some food and music (they have a venue) and explored the city which was super easy to do.

Working with Brett and the team was extremely easy and seamless. Brett was very informative and responsive to questions our group had pre-booking and even once we booked. His team made check-in and check-out extremely smooth which was awesome. The house was exactly what we expected and exceeded expectations. I would book this or any of Brett's other properties again!

We rented Your Own Lodge for winter vacation weekend in January. The lodge was warm and cozy when we arrived, even though the temps outside were in the single digits. Lots of living space for our party of 35 to spread out. We found the beds to be much more comfortable than we expected from a rental home. We especially appreciate that there were 2 bedrooms on the main floor for my in-laws who are a bit older and didn’t need to go up and down steps. there are 2 bedrooms in the basement near the game area where we had all the (loud) boys sleep, which left all the upstairs bedrooms for couples and smaller children. This home is an 8 minute drive to Hunter mountain. We spent an awesome day on the slopes! Brett was gracious and accommodating about allowing us to stay a bit later on Sunday, which made all the difference! We chose the Lodge because of the large size, and the close proximity to the Orthodox synagogue. Even in freezing weather, you are only a few houses away from the Shul. There were 2 extra folding tables and lots of extra folding chairs to accommodate everyone at the sabbath meals. I will also mention that when we blew a fuse on Sat night (too many toaster ovens and sandwich makers plugged in at once!) the local caretaker, Anita, was over practically before I hung up with her to flip the fuse back on. Brett and Mandi were a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. Would definitely recommend Your Own Lodge to any large group, even with lots of children, (There’s practically nothing breakable in this home- even though we somehow managed to break a flowerpot, which Brett was really nice about!) who want a cozy large house with great views and a rustic vibe.

Our group of nine families had a fabulous stay at the Lodge for our annual January ski weekend. The Lodge is a wonderful place for a large group to gather with lots of bedrooms, large, comfortable common spaces, and a lovely view. It's well-located for winter and summer activities in the Catskills -- and for us was the perfect place to enjoy a snowy weekend with friends. The rental team was also responsive. We'd recommend it to others looking for a place for a large group get-together in the area.

Our party of 20 had an amazing time at Your Own Lodge over Thanksgiving weekend. The house was as advertised and there was plenty of room for everyone. The open plan main floor (with mountain views!) was perfect for our big group to hang out together, the second kitchen came in handy for Thanksgiving meal prep, and the kids had a blast in the basement playing air hockey and pool. The location was also ideal: right in town with a grocery store close by, but easily accessible to hiking and outdoor exploration. We hiked to Kaaterskill Falls which was beautiful!

my wife's and my 50th Wedding Anniversary.

The venue was all it was described to be and we took full advantage of everything. Our days were centered

around the pool and evenings were either around the fire pit or in the Great Room for family game nights.

At Brett's suggestion, we utilized local restaurants which delivered evening meals on the nights we didn't

do our own preparation in the spacious kitchen.

The Rental process was quite simple as was dealing with the local Property Manager.

The best part was that it brought our entire family together for a very special occasion, in a comfortable, clean location that will provide wonderful memories for all of us, forever.”
