  My family and I just enjoyed a lovely 3 night mid-week getaway. Lakeview Cabin 24 (2 br 1 ba) was a nice choice for us. This particular cottage was recently renovated. Our kids (8 and 4) shared a room comfortably. The living room was cozy (we made good use of the gas fireplace) and kitchen was well-appointed. We particularly enjoyed the covered porch facing the lake. It is one house down from the East Beach playground/swimming area which was convenient and fun - felt like our own private space. The complimentary rowboat was a hit. The nature trail is also a plus, enjoyed by the whole family and quiet enough to see families of deer in every outing. Resort staff picked up trash every day; I have read reviews expressing negative thoughts around the lack of servicing rooms/cabins (like a hotel would) but we did not find this to be an issue for our 3-night stay. Our takeaway is that this is essentially an AirBnB with more on-property perks. In hindsight, items we wish were provided or included in the cabin: grill utensils/charcoal, throw blankets, and a laundry room. Otherwise, 4.5 stars! Would happily stay again.

  The room was great. We both loved the gigantic shower and the small deck area off the back of the room to hangout and over look the property on. We will be staying again. Thanks for a great stay.

  Just came back after 4 nights at one of their lake view cabins. We had a GREAT time. This is the perfect place to unwind, unplug and create memories. Very relaxing and quiet. Thank you to Bill for making our stay fantastic!! We definitely felt like a part of the family. Can't wait to return!!

  This was our second stay in the Couples Cottage and it was wonderful! There are many 1, 2 & 3 Bedroom Cottages at this resort in addition to several Couples Suites. But there is only ONE Couples Cottage and we are hooked! Immaculate accomodations, jacuzzi tub, spa towels & robes, gas fireplace, complimentary soda, coffee & water. Glassware, silverware, dishes, ice machine. All tucked away in a tiny cottage in the woods. So peaceful and refreshing! Our go to place for a quick getaway!

  We have visited at least 6 times over the years and I am never disappointed. The cabins are beautiful, clean, and comfortable. We love the hiking trail, watching the sunrise and just spending time together as a family. We will continue our visits at Mountain Springs Lake and recommend this amazing place to anyone!
