(October 15, 2021, 9:50 am)From the first phone call we felt welcomed. The house is beautiful, the rooms/beds are comfortable and the breakfast and conversations with Mary magnificent! We were welcomed as strangers and left as friends, with next visit book for springtime💕

(May 27, 2021, 11:35 am)Our first weekend away since the pandemic hit! It couldn't have been better! Amazing accommodations, absolutely a gem nestled in a country setting with so many areas to visit, close at hand! Mary is the most generous hostess, her friendliness and kindness making us feel like family! There is the main house, which I found out was built in 1798, as well as a cottage in the back which we may reserve next time. Peace & tranquility of the country brought me back before the rat race of adulting took hold! We'll definitely be back! Thank you, Mary! We are again, recharged to take on the world!!!

(May 24, 2021, 12:03 am)I stayed here about a month ago and had such a fantastic time. Everyone was so kind and fun to talk to, especially Mary. The house itself is beautiful and old, lovingly kept with strong history. I love all the decorations and knickknacks, especially the old merry-go-round horses. The property and quaint surrounding town is also lovely. I saw so many wild daffodils around! Thank you Mary for being such a wonderful person and opening your home to friends and strangers alike.

(October 22, 2018, 10:00 am)Highly recommended!! We celebrated my daughter’s wedding there over the weekend..utilized the barn as well as the bed&breakfast...can’t say enough about Mary Stuart!!! She is warm welcoming kind calm and an amazing lovely person!!!! She made this special event extra special and took great care of us as well as our guests staying in the home. Her home is cozy inviting casual comfy historical charm...property is very pretty with lots of charm as well. Stop in to see for yourselves this quaint unique exceptional bed & breakfast...and meet Mary, you’ll learn first hand what this special Litchfield County heavenly delight offers in many ways!! ❤️
