(July 4, 2023, 3:18 pm)Great trails for biking, running, and walking. There are plenty of restrooms and trash bins around. Super clean park with a great view. Have seen a few people fishing and caught a decent size fish. I'm not sure of the rules for keeping your catch. Tables and benches are around for rest or lunch. Great spot for a few hours to enjoy nature.

(June 26, 2023, 6:57 pm)One of my favorite county parks. It's popular so don't expect to be alone the whole time. The educational center has cool stuff to learn about and public bathrooms. You can rent kayaks and other watercraft here. I also see people fishing.

(May 23, 2023, 12:26 am)Gorgeous area. I come here to unwind and jog. I came here last time to kayak and take the boat tour. In the boat tour they give you a history lesson of the area. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I asked how to get my boating license and how to get a fishing license. They told me everything I needed to know to start the paperwork. I come here at least once a month. Highly recommend this place!

(April 3, 2023, 7:36 pm)Beautiful five-mile cinder trail around the reservoir is great for walking, running, and cycling. There is a wonderful environmental center with fun and informative exhibits on local plant and animal species. Great for kids and adults. The visitor center has a lovely circular room centered with a stone fireplace and flanked by benches and windows with a panoramic view. There are boat rentals in the summer, and drinks and snacks for sale. The facilities are clean and there are plenty of picnic tables as well as playground equipment. Fishing and personal boats are allowed. No swimming.

(June 17, 2022, 3:35 pm)It was a perfect day at the Manasquan Reservoir so beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The perimeter trail is 5.1 miles that goes all the way around the reservoir. People run, walk, ride bikes, walk their dogs and you may see equestrians sharing these trails. There are two different types of trails; easy or moderate so be sure to pick up a booklet if you are not familiar with the trails. You can rent a boat or kayak at the Visitor Center. The reservoir is open all year for fishing and they stock it with several types of fish. I really enjoy running here, especially in the summer because the trees provide a lot of shade, but most of all I miss being here with my dog.
