Great playground. Couldn't go kayaking because of the thunder so we went fishing.
Lots to do here. Hiking biking and boating.
I can't believe that I live only 12 minutes from Manasquan Reservoir. It's such a beautiful place. The sunsets are amazing. I try to visit at least 3 to 4 times a week. What a great place to walk your dog. The place is awesome for kayaking, fishing, jogging, bicycling, photography, dog walking, and just relaxing and enjoying the beauty of nature.
I have been here twice: once just to hike and explore the area, and the second, mostly just to be out on the water (tour boat & kayaking). This is such a beautiful and relaxing place to enjoy and it offers a lot of different things for people of all ages (and pets) to do. Besides hiking trails, tour boats and kayaking, there are also biking areas, fishing, other boating / water activities, a playground for children and more!
There are also bathrooms (and porta potties), vending machines and a cafeteria. Everything (including the bathrooms and trails) seem to be well maintained and kept clean, too.
The trails here are fairly easy from what I've seen, and if you're lucky, you might spot some beautiful wildlife along the way (I've seen deer, swans, eagles, and more!). I definitely plan on coming back to hike and kayak again, but also to explore what else this place has to offer.
Love this park, so serene and beatiful place for a walk or run. Just keep in mind that it is 5 miles long.
One of our favorite trails. Beautiful scenery, clear water and awesome sunset. Trail is 5 miles long and covered by trees. Trail is not paved but definitely usable for biking. There is a boat ramp near visitor center and also a small children's play area.
