(March 20, 2023, 12:23 am)Very nice hiking place ! I definitely recommend ending your hiking tour in this place, next to the waterfall. Old buildings might give you some rejection vibe, but I guarantee the views and hiking path would make it up to you, plus it gives some charm to the atmosphere

(March 12, 2023, 7:33 pm)This place never ceases to amaze me. Waterfall at one end, then a stroll by the abandoned Tioronda Hat Works Factory. It's a great walk with various types of land surrounding it. This place has a great local story along the Fishkill Creek. Beacon history. Must see.

(August 12, 2022, 6:28 pm)I went here strictly to check out the Abandoned factory across from the parking area. The property is privately owned and there are lots of no trespassing signs. It was a perfect place to fly my drone and get some cool shots of the property.

Named after Catheryna Rombout Brett -- who, along with her husband, Roger, were the first European settlers in present-day Beacon -- Madam Brett Park features 12 acres on the banks of Fishkill Creek, along which once stood a gristmill owned by Catheryna, who was widowed at age 31 when Roger drowned in the Hudson River.
