  I was visiting my daughter in West Hartford and ran out of yarn. I googled knitting shops and discovered Knit and Pearls in Avon. We were in love with this comfortable shop from the moment we walked in. There was such a wide selection of colors, supplies, and beautiful yarns. My daughter has rediscovered knitting and now has a wonderful resource to help her enjoy this relaxing activity. Very friendly people.

  I absolutely love Knit and Pearls! I live about 20-25 minutes away and make the little trip every time I need to stock up, especially for this Christmas during the pandemic. The store feels safe and inviting. I don’t regularly do grocery/necessity shopping in-store ...*except* for Knit and Pearls! I love the energy there and the selection is wonderful. I even received curbside delivery one time after ordering online, when I had my baby with me and didn’t want to bring her indoors. I’ve been there nearly every week this holiday season and I can’t wait to take classes in the future once the pandemic has hopefully calmed down. Highly recommend supporting this business if you’re in the area and love to get crafty with some yarn!

  This shop's motto is "come in and unwind", and it couldn't be more appropriate! I have taken classes at Knit and Pearls, attended open knitting sessions, and gone in just to browse and always leave feeling like I have been on a minivacation. The staff are knowledgable and friendly. The selection of yarns is amazing. And the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I have knit alongside experts and beginners at Knit and Pearls and learn something new every time I go. Knit and Pearls has moved my knitting from a hobby to an obsession. I would recommend this shop to all levels of knitters, and to anyone who wants to learn to knit.

  I LOVE this store! Everyone is so nice and helpful. I have taken a few classes here and learned so much. I am a beginner knitter and with every class I gain more confidence. Last year I made my first sweater with Heather. She is so great and patient, always there with a new tip or technique. The store has a great selection of yarns and tools. They are always willing to give advice when needed and you leave with beautiful yarn in fabulous colors!

  Love this store! Heather, Janet and Cindy are warm, friendly and helpful. Great selection of yarn,with lots of samples and pattern ideas available. I always leave with lots of new ideas, and of course beautiful yarn.
