    Historic private boys school with top hockey program. Designed by one of the first woman architects Theodate Pope Riddle who's family owned what became The Hillstead Museum in Farmington.

    Beautiful campus, great hockey, yes, expensive and an emphasis on sports. I was visiting from one of the other Founder's League Schools and I saw nothing but nice, courteous, well behaved young men. Many of which came out to support the jv team even and very vocal in a good natured way.

    Fantastic school all around - academics, athletics, faculty investment, commitment to educating young men. My boys can't say enough good things about being "Men of Avon" - they express a tremendous respect for the traditions, the high expectations, the leadership, and what they call "the brotherhood."
