  I’ve been following Jagstrong gym since it opened, and I’m very impressed not only with the finest equipment it has, but also Jag’s knowledge of the human body. He can explain the personal diet plan he teaches his client to follow, and why the right food is necessary to build muscle for maximum effectiveness. Also he keeps an eye on proper technique when clients are using weights to avoid injury, while encouraging his clients to push themselves to reach their goals.
  Jagstrong gym really cares about helping people succeed.

  If you’re looking for a gym to join, Jagstrong Power Lifting is the gym for you! Jagstrong is always spotless and has a great atmosphere, accompanied with awesome music to pump you up! There is a wide range of equipment to change your body; from free weights, to top of the line machines and tires to flip outside, it has everything! The owner Jag is very knowledgeable if you have any questions and is eager to help you on your fitness journey.

  Jagstrong Gym is easily the greatest gym experience I have ever experienced in Connecticut. This is a place that welcomes members and encourages them to create the best version of yourself. Bottom line is, they care. They care about the constant maintenance and cleanliness, members needs/ wants, and ensuring the proper equipment for you to maximize your fitness journey. You will not find another gym anywhere around that has the amount of unique equipment that is here. The gym is organized and easy to navigate. The outdoor lot has tires to flip and sleds to pull. If you’re looking for a sign to be apart of something more than just a gym, let this be it. Get after it.

  I’ve been training with Jag for almost a year now, and it has completely changed my life. I’m a mom of two young girls, and having always been a runner had never really given lifting “heavy” weights a true shot. Now, I’m feeling stronger and overall better than ever. I love the feeling of confidence that building muscle brings to my life. I also love be able to show my girls how to be strong, take up space, and feel comfortable and powerful in their own bodies!
  Jag is wise beyond his years, intelligent, motivated and has a huge heart! He and his beautiful girlfriend Amanda have become like family to me and my family and I’m so grateful that our paths crossed!

  I’ve been a member of over 5 different CT gym’s in the past 10 years and nothing matches the atmosphere created by Jagstrong Gym. There is no doubt this energy is fostered by the owner, Jag, who takes pride in providing every tool one might need to take their workout to the next level and dedicates himself to making this location the best gym around. You don’t feel like just another person when you come into Jagstrong Gym, it really feels like you are a part of something special and this gives me an additional edge and excitement to get after training with everything I have. It makes me look forward to working out when other times going to other gyms have felt like a drag. Jag cares about each and every person who comes through the door and really makes the workout experience all about you. I’ve had the privilege to be personally trained by him which has allowed me to see first hand how much blood, sweat, and tears he puts into everything he does. Never half a**ing anything, and putting his clients before anything else. You can not ask for a better person to train you with the combined work ethic focused on your goals, knowledge of personal training, and respect by treating everyone as a friend. I have taken advantage of the personal training experience and have seen first hand his ability to cater all types of fitness goals and aspirations. He helped me get physically AND mentally prepared for the hardest weeks of training in my military career to date and can confidently say I performed better due to his ability to design and put me through intense training. When I was out there getting smoked I even thought to myself “I can handle this because it ain’t even as hard as what Jag put me through!”. The pain was worth the gain. To sum it all up, this is the place you want to be. I would not look ANYWHERE else to fulfill your fitness and personal training needs. Jagstrong Gym is where you want to be!
