(October 15, 2022, 5:42 pm)Hudson’s is an adorable hidden gem in Southbury! Many of the locals are familiar with it for their breakfast and lunch, which I definitely want to come back and try, but it’s a sin not to come experience their dinner menu. The chef is fantastic, and their seafood is some of the freshest you can have because they own Southbury Seafood next door! I thought it was great how many gluten-free items they had on the menu - I think they had more than I’ve seen at any other restaurant. The rigatoni must’ve been made with gluten free pasta, because it was specified as gluten free on the menu, but I couldn’t even tell the difference! Every dish, dessert, and drink was phenomenal. I would go back for the hot spiced butter cider alone because it was SO good. I hope to come back soon!

The interior is beautifully decorated and there is plenty of seating available, both inside & outside, for larger crowds. The baristas were very sweet and helpful, providing excellent customer service. It seems like they do seasonal menus in addition to their standard menu, very neat. My girlfriend and I’s lattes tasted amazing and rich in flavor. They even offer a food, alcohol, & sushi menu all in one place; how cool is that? I highly recommend checking out this spot. I will definitely be returning!

(August 13, 2022, 11:35 am)OUTSTANDING! The food is incredible. Gluten free bun is outstanding. I’m so impressed with the coffee - Italian style espresso, not sharp or bitter, just full of rich flavor like you are at a cafe in Italy. The decor is modern and clean. I couldn’t be happier to have found this place. Don’t hesitate, go.
Bonus: Outdoor seating is great.
