  Pure class. I called Doug at Hudson Cabinetry Design early in the process of commissioning a 15-foot built-in, floor-to-ceiling media wall unit. He was incredibly generous with his time, spending about an hour discussing our goals and his company's capabilities.
  
  We ended up hiring a different company with a lower quote. But progressing the project with them ended up being a huge struggle, and two months in, they just stopped responding.
  
  We quickly went back to Doug, and the difference in professionalism was striking. He was at our apartment the next day to take measurements, significantly improved on the other company's preliminary design, and gave us a reasonable work timeline that held. Doug also pointed out the inferior materials and fabrication proposed by the other company that had allowed them to quote lower.
  
  Throughout the process, Doug was very responsive and provided invaluable guidance. We had specific dimensional requirements to maximize storage for a vinyl record collection, while keeping aesthetics in line with our pre-war apartment. Doug always gave us a range of good options when it came to design choices, and was patient and accommodating through rounds of tweaks. We especially appreciated his candor when we floated ideas that he didn't think would work well.
  
  The installation team—Cesar, Don Bolivar and David—were also fantastic. In addition to top-notch work with clear attention to detail (especially along our uneven ceiling and floor, and around existing mouldings), they were super friendly, tidy, and respectful of our home throughout the two-day job.
  
  It was a pleasure working with Hudson Cabinetry Design from start to finish. We hope to have an excuse to work with Doug and his team again.

  It was a wonderful expereince working with Doug and his crew at Hudson Cabinetry Design. They designed, built and installed extensive custom cabinetry, including the most fabulous kitchen cabinetry that is both functional and beautiful. The design process was great because they really listen and working with them was incredibly easy. They are the best!

  Working with Doug Bialor and his team was honestly an enjoyable experience, and that is NOT always the case with home improvement projects. They did a bedroom wall unit/bed frame that helped us utilize previously wasted space and gave us tons of valuable storage; designed three striking wall units in our living room to house some very specific collectibles and built us a sleek, ultra-long sideboard for our dining room, all which blended beautifully into our modern home. On top of doing excellent, beautiful, high quality work, Doug was always full of good suggestions, humor and patience (we took a LONG time to make some choices and changed our mind a few times through the process as well). The end result was that we absolutely love our cabinetwork and cannot recommend Doug and Hudson Cabinetry Design highly enough.

  We had a great experience with Hudson Cabinetry Design and I highly recommend them. We recently moved to a new apartment that had barely any storage space and thanks to Doug and his team I now have two beautiful built in cabinets and a bookcase that we are enjoying fully.
  
  It was a pleasure working with Doug from the beginning. He was very thorough explaining the project, materials and process. He answered all of my questions and was extremely prompt setting up our initial meeting to get measurements, view the space and discuss the project. Once Doug had all the information, he provided detailed designs that included all of our requests. After the drawings and proposals were approved, both the design and installation process were flawless.
  
  The day of the installation, Doug and his team arrived on time both days. They were extremely professional and careful with their work and our space. At the time of the installation I had a newborn at home and the team was extremely mindful about the situation and made sure to keep all areas clean after each installation day. Not only did they keep the areas clean but were extremely careful protecting our floors and furniture.
  
  Thanks to Hudson Cabinetry Design, I now have two beautiful pieces that we fully enjoy. I would highly recommend them for any custom cabinetry design that you might have. The craftsmanship, design and service are superb. Can't wait to call them for other future projects...it was a great pleasure to work with Doug and his team!

  Hudson Cabinetry Design is a top-notch, professional cabinetry company that we used for several built-in projects in our new Brooklyn home. We reached out to Doug Bailor, the owner, because we'd had a terrible experience with another builder. He immediately responded with a visit and then a thoughtful, reasonably-priced proposal while also suggesting some important design adjustments to our original drawings. We liked his ideas so much that we asked him to redesign two of the units. Throughout our projects (two separate installations), Doug was patient, professional and offered smart suggestions. He responded to our many questions efficiently and effectively. As for the work, it's extremely high quality. We were delighted by the details and workmanship that resulted in three very beautiful projects. It's also worth mentioning that Doug's crew is amazing: They cleaned up each day of installation, cared about protecting our floors and furniture and were very pleasant to have in our home. We have enjoyed working with Doug so much that we're now embarking on a third project (design, build and installation). I would recommend HCD highly!
