(August 24, 2023, 2:22 pm)Rosemary was so sweet and attendant. We stopped in Herman’s Drive-in before our drive back to Brooklyn on a weekday late morning. Everyone was so friendly, service was fast and food was good! We ordered the make your own omelettes and they were made perfectly. Our server Rosemary was very helpful and genuinely kind. As an LGBTQ black couple, it was a great experience in CT.

(January 2, 2020, 7:22 am)Let me start by saying that the food itself was very good. We sat down at 11:10am, was able to order food at 11:15am. We received our food at 12:05pm. Almost an hour for breakfast. While it was busy, the place is very small and absolutely inexcusable for breakfast to take an hour. Regardless, the eggs were perfectly cooked, the toast was done just right but the hash browns were mush and very oily. Some people might like it that way but I felt they needed to be crispy. The bacon was perfectly cooked. Everything had a small bit of char on it which was the best part. Small Town atmosphere, you know what to expect walking in. You know what's being cooked because you can see it. Overall good experience.

(December 22, 2019, 12:23 am)It was an icy day and we didn't want to travel far so we gave this place a try. We were so happy we did. The food was absolutely delicious, the portions were generous, the prices were reasonable, and the staff extremely friendly. We will definately be back.
