(June 25, 2023, 9:40 am)I have gone there over 18 yrs. Love hiking there with my dogs. In 2021 to the present more people are going there. There is garbage on the ground and some graffiti. please keep this beautiful place clean.

(May 27, 2023, 9:29 pm)Loved it. Nice and hilly to get the heart racing. I walked yellow to blue to white. I was a little freaked out from strange noises that was ultimately someone running an engine. The trail is lightly populated as I encountered only a haul of people.

(October 27, 2022, 7:44 pm)A nice park with trails and carriage roads that pass by the ruins of the 19th century Cedar Glen estate. Nice views of the Hudson River and Poughkeepsie. Today was a nice fall walk with great colors.

(May 27, 2021, 10:34 am)Well marked and maintained hiking trails. Easy level, good for a beginner hiker. There are a couple of steep areas, but they don’t last long. Limited parking, no bathroom facilities. We came during a weekday, and pretty much had the place to ourselves. We took the yellow trail to the blue with a scenic overlook of the Mid-Hudson bridge. From there, we took a left on the white trail and hiked the whole thing. Cool stone ruins and rock walls along the paths. Unfortunately, the “scenic overlooks” labeled on the white trail map were non-existent, probably because the trees are all grown in. I’m sure theres a nice view of the river in fall/winter.
