  Great views of the Hudson River. Great historical location. Many trails are for the intermediate hiker. Ideal for spring or fall but good for a summer visit.

  Nice museum. The employees are super nice very friendly and the are knowledgeable. The place is clean and they close at 5:00 PM you have to take your car or it will be locked in. But you still can walk through I think

  Well kept historical site that I highly recommend. There's a museum and trails. Trails are very easy. The bridges are nice. There's a small zoo here as well. Parking on site, but be aware gate closes at 5pm.

  This is one of the nicest parks I've been to in awhile. It's got a small museum with artifacts, dioramas, examples of soldiers attire and a small book section/gift shop. Behind the museum to the left, you walk a short distance to where the fort was. There's well maintained trails with plaques showing what was there, like the house they stored gunpowder. The view overlooking Bear mountain bridge has cannons on it and you can see why this was a strategic place. If you go to the right beyond the museum there's a path leading down a hill to a footbridge over the river with a great view of the beat mountain bridge and a perfect spot to see trains. My son and I enjoyed it so much we've gone back many times.
