  Our family of 4 visited the Floating Farmhouse and couldn't have asked for a better stay in the country. The kitchen is exquisite- beautifully designed with soaring glass wall, framing a pristine outside setting – tranquil lake, quirky trees, restored barn (have your camera handy at all times). Kitchen is fully stocked – had everything we needed and then some (wood burning pizza oven?!) If you love to cook, you’ll love it more in this kitchen. And so much room to dance with kids while cooking and drinking wine.
  
  Our two young boys had a blast exploring the grounds, making obstacle courses in the vast back yard, building forts in the woods, roasting marshmallows at the fire pit, actually rowing a boat gently down the stream. Chilly nights playing board games by a crackling fire couldn’t have been cozier. Lunch on the side deck by the waterfall also magical.
  
  Everything was made so easy, with fire starter kits, strong wifi (11 days never lost a signal), enormous washer/dryer, loads of pillows and blankets. The beds/bedrooms were all very comfortable and pin-drop quiet at night. Showers hot and enveloping. Sonos in the kitchen, turntable in the living room with loads of records.
  
  Truly special. My family will never forget the fun we had there. Can’t wait to bring friends with us next time.
