  Owners are amazing people! This place is definitely for the party campers. Family campground but hard on infants if you're near loud people. The river rides and swimming are so much fun. Totally worth it.

  My family and I and other family and friends had a great time at this campsite. Let’s look at the pros:
  1. Large campground to pitch your tents, ample tables and chairs to wine and dine and the river next to your site
  2. Nature, nature and more nature
  3. Running water, porta potties that are changed daily and shower rooms
  4. It’s close to nyc
  
  Ok this campsite isn’t for newbies because there’s no warm water however you can boil your water and voila you’re all good. Highly recommended and owners Paula and Alek are amazing. Don’t forget Kevin and Josh who work tireless to ensure everyone is safe and having an amazing time. Thanks!!

  Our recent family getaway at Ascalona campground was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty that surrounded us, creating an atmosphere of serenity and adventure. This camping site truly exceeded our expectations in every way, leaving an unforgettable mark on our memories. The natural setting of the camping site was simply breathtaking. The sheer beauty of the surroundings instantly put us in a state of relaxation, allowing us to disconnect from the city and immerse ourselves in the wonders of nature. We were impressed by the exceptional level of service and hospitality we experienced throughout our stay. Josh and his family were warm and friendly. The accommodations provided by the camping were exceptional. The presence of clean restroom and shower facilities was a welcome convenience, ensuring that our camping experience remained comfortable and enjoyable. There is a 15min drive supermarket nearby which is really helpful. You can enjoy activities like kayaking, fishing, swimming, boating and hiking. Totally recommend this camping site to families seeking a memorable and immersive nature retreat. We will definitely be back again soon!

  This place will definitely go down as one of our favorite car camping sites to go to! Best location, great view and right next to the water!
  
  Our experience here were the best! Many thanks to Kevin, Josh and Ann for providing us a great experience! This spot is very family friendly and a great place to go swimming as well as fishing at the Delaware River.
  
  Ascalona Campground made sure the porta potties were always cleaned, there is a shower room to rinse and outdoor sinks to wash dishes. There's currently no store at site at the moment but the owners were planning to add this later on. You can buy firewood and ice from them in the mean time.
  
  You can also schedule activities such as rafting and kayaking from them!
  
  Our only complain is not at the place but at the other visitors, they were very inconsiderate at the other campers by playing loud music around 1am-4am. They even had the nerve to use a microphone to wake up their companions the following early morning without no regard at the other campers at site. Please don't be like these people.
